Welcome to my website

My name is Kate Jobe. I live in Portland, Oregon and am delighted to welcome you to my site.

I have a private practice in Process Work and supervision where I work face-to-face in my office and at a distance by phone and Skype. I am a co-creator of the Process Work Institute in Portland and the diploma and Master's programe there as well as the Certificate and Diploma programs at Process-Oriented Psychology, Ireland. Having been a dancer, I have a passion for movement especially concerning the ways it relates to the embodiment and fulfillment of personal potential--that is, getting in intimate contact with all of who you can be with the personal and collective meaning that it carries.

I found Arny Mindell's work in the early 1980s. It helped me connect body experince to a range of more psychological experience like dreams, relationships, altered states, conflict, world and social issues, symptoms, illness, abnormal body experiences, and addictions. This helps me work with people in their experience with an understanding of the total person.

Welcome and I hope you enjoy yourself. Thanks for stopping by.

When is a movement not only a movement?

When it also touches  the dreaming process.

When it expresses the deep eternal parts of ourselves.
