SUMMARY:Movement as a Path to Wholeness In London
DESCRIPTION:Movement as Path to Wholeness \nMovement happens in nature all the time and within us. Following this flow of experience can connect us to our deepest dreams for ourselves and the world\, and guide us through some of life’ s most central and current challenges. \nIn this course we will bring together an exciting and experiential synthesis of movement techniques\, drawing from Processwork\, Laban / Bartenieff\, authentic movement and action theatre. We will explore how our personal journey is linked to the world\, and help us access the mystery within our own movements which link us to our own directional impulse. \nIn a world faced by many challenges right now\, movement can help bring deep relationship and meaning to our path and what is seeking emergence in the world. In this way we can learn resilience and bring regeneration to our personal lives\, our communities\, families and organisations. \nThis course can be both a personal journey as well as a facilitation training. It is for anyone interested in facilitation training and experiencing themselves in Processwork\, from beginners to seasoned practitioners (from diverse range of professions) looking for more fluidity and to synthesise their approach. \nCourse Contents\nModule 1\nDecoding Your Own Natural Movement: Processwork and Movement Work Concepts\n13 – 16 March 2025 (4 days in person)\nVenue: WAC Arts\nOld Town Hall\, 213 Haverstock Hill\, Belsize Park\, London NW3 4QP \nThis module can be taken as a stand-alone seminar / or as the first module of the whole course. \nIn our first 4 day seminar we look forward to coming together as a group\, meeting each other and exploring. This module (which is also a stand-alone seminar) is an opportunity to experience Processwork with an emphasis on movement and how it relates to our inner and outer worlds. We will use techniques that are aligned with following nature and the dreaming process. We will delve into and explore the language of movement along with an introduction to the Laban/Bartenieff movement system\, to help us navigate this familiar but often unexplored world. \nWe will use our awareness and creative experiences to explore our own natural movement and how less known aspects of it give you access to emerging parts of ourselves. This is an exciting and expansive journey that involves working with our comfort and discomfort. \nWhen we are more connected with the language of our bodies we are in a better place to stay in tune with our deeper nature. We will also learn how to integrate what we discover into our personal and professional lives. \nWe are looking forward to meeting you and starting our course together. This module can be taken as a stand alone 4-day seminar and it is also the first module in our Annual Course. \nFull Fee for the first seminar: £425\nDiscounted Fee for this as a stand alone seminar: £375\,\nwith deposit of £100 by 29/01/2025 \nModule 2\nThe Language of Signals\n12 – 13 April 2025 (2 days online)\nWorking with signals will be the major focus of this module. Signals are things that people do or say that stand out as interesting or disturbing. Most of us have experienced the frustration of working online and feeling distant from the people or a person that we are talking to. \nSignals tend to be more difficult to perceive and to relate to online. This leads to a sense of distance. In this module we will focus on how to connect more intimately with clients\, friends and families using movement and body feeling by learning and creating ways of interacting with signals. \nWe will continue our study of the Processwork and Laban/Bartenieff movement systems. We will dive into our unintended verbal and movement signals for creating more connection and intimacy online as well as in all areas of life and practice. \nModule 3\nDreambody in Relationships (4 days in person) 16 – 17 May 2025 (Day 1 & 2)Training Dojo with Stanya Studentova and Anup Karia. Together with diploma students and wider Processwork community Venue: Pax Lodge\, London NW3 5PQ\n18 – 19 May 2025 (Day 3 & 4) Annual course group only. Day 3 and 4 with Kate Jobe and Milan Bijelic facilitating the annual course group Venue: Resource for London 356 Holloway Road\, London N7 6PA \nRelationship in Movement\nFor the first two days of this module we will join the Processwork UK student body as well as additional participants for an open seminar on relationships. \nOn the second two days we will practise in our annual course group some of our learning from the dojo and apply our knowledge of movement to relationships. \nWe will look at dynamics\, space\, and how people’s bodies relate. When people relate they tend to talk about relating in the past or future. This usually leads to things that are mostly known but sometimes unsaid. But there is a deeper dream happening in the moment as they relate. \nMovement is especially effective in finding the deeper dreaming in all relationships\, including conflicts – as it is happening now. This often brings surprising and relieving insights to the relationship. \nModule 4\nUsing the Unknown to Facilitate the Collective and Individual\n26 – 29 June 2025 (4 days in person)\nVenue: Pax Lodge\, 12C Lyndhurst Rd\, London NW3 5PQ \nWe shift to exploring our collective and individual movement patterns through creative work using disturbances (at all levels) as the central theme. We will deepen our work with Processwork and the Laban/Bartenieff movement systems applied to our symptoms\, dreams\, addictions\, ecstatic moments\, and collective dynamics. \nOn the fourth day we will bring together your learning and work on ways to integrate it into your life. Here we will go deeply into the exciting world of movement by looking in detail at our movement qualities and dynamics and how they express integral aspects of\nour unknown experience. We will experience the aliveness of space that is always moving with us and supporting us. And we recognize our connectedness through our breath and bodies and how they create pathways of movement\, support and yielding through not only our bodies but in the world. \nWe will integrate ideas of polyvagal theory and self regulation with Processwork methods especially around dynamics that take place in the collective sphere. We will also explore integration of movement in the Processwork approach to group work. \nWho is this for?\nWe are all facilitators – professionally and in our families and among our friends\, with work colleagues and in different organisational structures and environments. \nThis course is designed to support and encourage your awareness of the body’s role in revealing your wholeness and authenticity as well as how movement can be practically applied in facilitating ourselves or others at different levels: individual\, relationship or group. \nWe invite your commitment to grapple with the difficulties that we face as individuals and collectively in the society – because the world needs these skills\, and these interactions in order for new collective patterns to emerge. We welcome all professional\, spiritual frameworks and none. \nFocus of the training\nThe focus of the training is on gaining an embodied understanding of Processwork that allows you to apply it in your life. The course will inevitably confront you with your limits\, helping you discover where you can grow and develop\, and connect you to your personal strength. \nThe course is useful both for people wanting to use the tools in their daily life as well as for anyone working with people – whether as facilitator\, coach or therapist or in a leadership position. We also invite people who aspire to work in this way or who are developing projects. We encourage people from different backgrounds and professions to join. \nThe core requirements are a deep interest and curiosity in our wholeness as it emerges in various communication channels\, and the capacity to stay present in moments of discomfort and uncertainty. \nLearning environment\nWe will work together in the larger group\, as well as in small groups\, dyads and individually. We support the spirit of collaboration and research / exploration\, welcoming the emerging or unexpected processes – process as a teacher… \nThere will be some reading recommendations and you will be encouraged to keep a study journal. However these are not requirements. It is expected you will be able to attend all the modules. \nMentoring\nThere will be mentoring opportunities between modules. Group mentoring sessions can be used to hone your understanding of a particular element of Processwork\, or course material and also to help you process your Processwork journey. \nThe teaching team\nThe course will be facilitated by Kate Jobe and Milan Bijelic. Our facilitators are psychotherapists\, supervisors and members of Processwork UK teaching teams\, and offer training programmes in the UK and internationally. For more information about our teachers\, please see their biographies on our website. https://www.processworkuk.org/faculty-2/ \nHow to apply and register \nWe will meet online with everyone interested in doing the full course\, to say hello\, answer any questions and make sure the course is a good fit for you. \nPlease email admin@processworkuk.org and we will send you an application form.\nAnnual course fee: £2600\nDiscounted fee: £2250\, with deposit of £250 by 29/01/2025. \nIf you have questions or would like to register for the first module as a stand alone seminar\, please email admin@processworkuk.org\nGateway to Processwork UK Diploma Training: During the course\, you may decide you want to take your Processwork studies further by applying to the Processwork UK Diploma programme. Our annual courses are a prerequisite for Diploma training. During the third module we will meet with participants who are interested in going further to inform you about the process for this. \nImportant Note:\nThis training is intended for all who are interested in learning how to practise and use Processwork awareness with themselves and others. The training is not therapy. It is not meant to replace any forms of treatment or therapy in which prospective participants may be engaged\, and we recommend that you consult with any herapeutic practitioner you may have\, prior to registering. It is an educational experience\, meant to enhance personal growth and professional practice.

When they are used well\, they are also powerful allies and bring a sense of wellbeing and even safety. \nIn this training we will focus on the body and how it expresses high and low rank. We will learn some concrete ways of perceiving subtle rank and power signals in ourselves and in others (stuff that you can used in other life situations as well). And we will use movement along with our personal dreaming\, to play beyond our perceived rank and power limits. We will have lecture\, an exercise\, and question and answer time. SUMMARY:Tables\, Fairies & Hyperspaces
DESCRIPTION:We live in a time of increasingly rapid change. Technical and cultural developments change the way we spend our time and relate to ourselves\, our families\, friends and our work situations. Changes in the environment\, politics and economics affect our lives directly. While these things are ‘real ’ they are only one dimension of reality\, forming part of a collective hypnosis. If we have no way to get beyond this\, we feel powerless and unable to live our full potential. \nGetting to know the “fairies and hyperspaces” in the midst of this experience means we can step out of this collective hypnosis and into a connection with your deep self long enough to get a perspective that opens up new possibilities and gives us access to personal power\, purpose and satisfaction. \nIn this workshop we will explore your dreams\, body\, and your movement as deep and powerful resources for connecting with your deepest resources and beyond into that which guides you. \nWe will apply the insights that you find there to your everyday world finding new ways of approaching problems and living in our rapidly changing world. \nFriday May 3rd : 12pm – 6pm\nSaturday May 4th : 10am – 5pm\nSunday May 5th : 10am – 3pm \n£200 early bird price before end of February / £230 thereafter\nMessage Red K Elders to book. \nFacilitated by KATE JOBE \nKate is a senior International Processwork trainer in Zurich\, Portland\, Poland\, and Russia with a special passion for the role the body and movement play in the supporting practical spirituality. She has been a large-group facilitator since the beginning of Worldwork and has done numerous projects applying Processwork including working with the Irish conflict in Dublin and Belfast\, the victims of the Chernobyl nuclear accident\, people in altered and extreme states. SUMMARY:Your Special Powers as a Facilitator: using bodywork and movement in psychotherapy
DESCRIPTION:Knowing who you are and what your goals are when you work as a therapist\, coach or facilitator is key to effectiveness. It may be obvious to you who you are: “Who am I? Well\, I’m me\, of course”. On the other hand\, it’s not always so clear. We lose ourselves in moments when a situation becomes complex\, when we are triggered with our own personal history or there is a lot of emotion. It happens especially when we have a particularly challenging client or have to perform\, pass an exam or have an inner or outer expectation of what we should be doing. We lose ourselves. \nDeveloping methods that give you the awareness to stay present allows possibilities to open that change a situation from a flop into something satisfying and sometimes miraculous. We know now that this special awareness is part of the unconscious which takes place not only in your mind but in other experiences like in your body and movements. It is the unconscious expressing itself to you\, showing you your special powers. Using this awareness is what Arny Mindell\, the founder of Processwork calls the 2nd training. \nIn this workshop we will focus on bringing together the 1st training\, the learning you can do from teachers and books\, and the 2nd training\, the learning that you gain through your special awareness. \nWe will:\n•	use 2nd training to enhance your special awareness and special powers\n•	address how and when to introduce the 2nd training to your clients and when not to\n•	use the Laban Movement System to deepen the 2nd training and help us facilitate the dreaming in the body\n•	work with stuck\, difficult or impossible situations when it’s hard to stay in touch with yourself. \nOn March 29 a supervision seminar run by Kate Jobe for psychotherapists will take place.\nBoth the workshop and supervision seminar will be translated into Polish.
